Welcome to your Public Lands
Action Center. This is a one-stop resource for those who want to
get more involved in projects affecting our public lands. You
can download our Citizens' Guide, view the latest
Schedule of Proposed Actions, read the Forest Plan, and read
some of the laws and regulations that apply to activities on the
forest.
Below you'll find a listing of
projects with open comment periods. If the comment period has
closed, you can still submit your comments, but the agency is
not required to consider them in making its final decision. To
help you prepare your comments, we've also provided a
color-coded system showing whether ForestWatch supports or
opposes the project. If we haven't put a code next to a project,
it means that we're still evaluating the proposal to determine
our position. This is not a complete listing of all projects
proposed by the agency; for a complete listing, download the
most recent SOPA.

Thumbs Up! This is a beneficial
project that ForestWatch supports with few if any suggested
improvements.
n
Proceed With Caution. This is a
project that ForestWatch could support if the agency makes
several changes to protect our public lands from damage.
n
Thumbs Down! This is a project
that ForestWatch opposes because it will cause too much damage
to our public lands and does not comply with laws designed to
protect the environment.
