Help defend the Los Padres National Forest from logging, including a proposal that would cover 1,600 acres on Mt Pinos. At risk is a beautiful forest comprised of Jeffrey pine, white fir, and singleleaf pinyon, lands sacred to Chumash Peoples, and popular for recreation.
You can help protect this unique area by pledging to Stand for a Stand!
Participation is FREE. Sign up below to adopt a stand of trees in the Mt. Pinos Project area and we’ll send you an email with more detailed instructions on the ways you can protect your adopted area.
If you want to stand for a particular stand, you’ll need your Stand ID. First, explore the interactive map below to find a stand that you’re interested in. When you click on it, an information panel should come up on the left which includes the Stand ID. Then go to the sign-up form below the map and follow the prompts.
