November is a time to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of Native Americans and to acknowledge their contributions to the world.

We’re proud to partner with different Indigenous groups on issues like protecting Pine Mountain and Mt. Pinos, especially considering that the Los Padres National Forest and other parks, monuments, and trails we work to protect are on Native American ancestral lands.

Land was, and remains today, essential to the spiritual and cultural identity of Native communities. Today, many of those landscapes are the same ones we go to for relaxation and recreation.
