The 50th celebration of Earth Day is upon us and we are ready to connect, and gather (online) with you! Join us for a series of live, informative, and fun events where we can exchange knowledge and build a stronger public lands movement in the spirit of resilience–people, land, wildlife, and community.
Happy Hour
Tuesday, 4/21/20, 5p-6p.
An online Earth Day Festival booth where ForestWatch representatives and the public can meet to discuss a multitude of topics.
We look forward to Earth Day and all the momentum it brings to our region every year. From the speakers to the art, and inspiring discussions we consistently have with hundreds of festival-goers, it is no doubt a powerful occasion. Festivals along the Central Coast have been canceled this year, but we are keeping the spirit alive through a series of online events. The digital booth & happy hour is our way to meet with supporters and Earth Day participants in a casual happy hour format. That’s YOU! Come ready to learn about our work, dive deeper into existing threats to public lands, and ask relevant questions. Green drinks encouraged! RSVP for online link!
Fire Ecology Presentation

This visual journey led by naturalist, photographer and conservation director at Los Padres ForestWatch, Bryant Baker, will open your eyes to the fascinating post-fire landscapes around Ojai. You will also learn about human-caused changes to natural fire cycles in the region and how we can better address these issues. RSVP to receive webinar link.
