Saucelito Canyon

The Saucelito Canyon story begins in 1880, when three acres of Zinfandel vines were planted in the rugged terrain of the upper Arroyo Grande Valley, near the Los Padres National Forest on California’s Central Coast.

A century later, Bill Greenough painstakingly restored the abandoned old vineyard and began making what has become one of California’s most distinguished Zinfandels. Today, the Greenoughs continues to merge new methods in sustainable winegrowing with their own family traditions and winemaking style.

Discover flavors that are native only to their historic dry-farmed vineyard in the remote chaparral of Saucelito Canyon. "This is a place that we call home, and a place that we are honored to share with you."
Ken Volk has been making Santa Barbara and Central Coast wines for more than a quarter century. Perhaps best known as the founder of Wild Horse Winery, Ken has earned a reputation for crafting world-class wines, particularly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Santa Maria Valley.

Kenneth Volk Vineyards is located at the mouth of Tepusquet Canyon on the bench of the Sisquoc River, in the northeastern portion of the Santa Maria Valley AVA near the Los Padres National Forest. Its beautiful, tranquil location is surrounded by oak and sycamore riparian habitat and is adjacent to some of the top Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards in Santa Barbara's wine country.
New Belgium Brewing, makers of Fat Tire Amber Ale and other Belgian-inspired beers, began in a tiny Fort Collins basement in 1991. Today, they produce 8 year-round beers while taking pride in their commitment to environmental stewardship. Belgian brewmaster Peter Bouckaert continues his imaginative blend of brewing delicious beers with loads of character and aspiring ingredients. New Belgium is a member of 1% For the Planet, an alliance of more than one thousand companies across the globe that donate 1% of their sales to nonprofit organizations working to protect the environment.
